Recently many of the Republican Presidential candidates, along with numerous political ad campaigns have touted claims that reducing regulations on businesses would create up to one million new jobs in our economy.  What is pertinent in considering these claims is the fact that the jobs they refer to do not, and can not, actually exist.  Displayed below is an ad for one of these “so called” jobs.  It is alarmingly clear that no individual can meet all of the qualifications for the position.  In fact, it is highly unlikely that the job poster’s company even has any current employees that meet these qualifications in full.  The job posting can be independently viewed on indeed.com.

AD:

See original job posting at Koch Industries, Inc. »

I know 3 people right off the bat...personal friends actually, that qualify.

I am however, glad this came up. This should be a wake up call for those young kids out there, thinking that they should invest 100k+ for a degree in Gender Studies.

Regards,

Mike

I don't think there is one. This appears to be a posting...which implies there is a need for it and the company intends on hiring someone to fill it.

Obviously a BS ad. I would not believe any candidate who claims to create a million jobs. Any candidate in which claims that should be a red flag - not to vote for them. We cannot create new jobs while we are sending jobs overseas and that started with Reagan. It would take a long time to fix that or a candidate not associated with certain lobbying groups whom are a proponent of overseas manufacturing and claim this is a benefit for US employment.

I was out of work for a year looking for a job I applied for 20 jobs a month a no-body even called.

So I think some of these job postings are fake and are just to help the company's look better.
